Thanks for the post, Twiz.

Since the release last year just before Christmas there hasn't been a single copy of the game available here in the city or on the whole Island. I know, I tried everywhere for days/weeks to track one down.

As the trouble with the servers became apparent I began to believe that the scarcity wasn't due to high demand but to Blizzard withholding the game until they figured the problems out. And that is the case.

Managed to get a time card but am sidelined until Blizzard figures out the sitch. Nothing I can do and don't have another game I really want to play. I WANT TO PLAY WOW!

Maybe try anarchy online for free (see elsewhere in this forum) until 2006. I played it when it first came out a few months...then again to hold me over until EQ2...lots to do solo and grouped...

I totally feel for ya. I pre-ordered but didn't have overnight shipping, so when everyone else started playing I was left in the dust. I luckily had a friend who lent me the free 10 day trial code until I got my full version.

At this point you can usually find copies of the game online (amazon, best-buy, compUSA, newegg, ebay) and have them shipped to you. If all else fails there should be a few extra copies still floating around TOG. I have the game on CD that I might be willing to part with. (collectors edition has it on DVD and CD for convenience)

Er..is that copy still available? I'm interested in playing either EQ2 or WoW, and it seems most people leave EQ2 for WoW...
