Exclamation SGW - Interview on how Stealth works.

Picked this one up over at www.MMORPG.com while surfing. Stealth skills are available mainly for the 'commando' class. Your ability in skill, your equipment, and your level are all factors in your 'stealth rating' which regens every few seconds. When trying to stealth up to an opponent, they have their reveal skill, gear, and level factored in for how much that "erodes" at your stealth rating, so that eventually if you stay within their detect range you may be revealed (based on whether you regen faster than they erode your stealth 'pool'). Also of note, if you fire on someone and break stealth, the target can see you but not necessatily other members of the targets side.

I was waiting for you Reoh to post this up here on the TOG Mmorpg boards.

I already posted it up a couple of days ago at the TOG SGW Command sub-forum site.

Here's what the SGW Wiki Site says about the Commando Archetype.

With these sneaky attacks, the commando can disrupt, confuse, and neutralize enemies. In addition to being able to stealth, commandos also have technology to detect stealthed enemies. The commando will be at least one of the archetypes able to deploy and detect traps, making them a valuable member of any team planning an ambush. Commandos can be compared to the highly specialized units in modern military, like the Delta Force.
It almost seems like the "Commandos" are like a rogue fantasy class or a Sniper kit in a FPS game.
