Hey Admins can we start a sperate Matrix Online forum?!?

Hey guys the matrix online is starting soon, can we get our own seperate TOG forum started like the rest of the games? There is a sneak preview this weekend, then pre-orders can start in the game on 3/19, then everyone else on 3/22 so theres not alot of time left. We need to pick a server too. Someone earlier suggested the "Algorithm" server so I think thats probably as good as any. Wadda say?

I'd like a forum too but we'd have to justify the creation of a new forum. This means we need numbers and lots of interest so start beating the drum!!!

As for servers, I'd like to know where they are geographically placed and chose one that is West coast USA so the yanks and the Aussies have a chance of getting together.

I have gotten a sneak peek key good from tomorrow through tuesday. Pending my impression of the game, i.e. whether I like it enough to leave EQ2 or not, I may throw my support in for a forum

Have been waiting all day for the download to finish so I can check out the Sneak Preview. Will see if it's worth leaving EQ2 for as well.

If you liked Anarchy Online or CoH you'll probably like this one. just be advised: It sufferes from "New MMO" syndrome at the moment. it's fairly laggy, and fairly buggy. There's supposed to be another big patch right before launch... let's hope they at least address some of the more major issues. see my mini-review writeup in the other thread for more info.

This seems like an ok game. Very like COH.

Seems like it would be most fun while doing some RPing though.

I was a big fan of City of Heroes, played a Scrapper up to L47 before switching over to EQ2 a couple of months ago. From my few hours of playing MxO last night I thought it was an ordinary effort. I enjoyed the melee combat, the ranged combat was very basic.

The atmosphere was good, very noir and dark as you'd expect from the movies, but objects I needed to click on to complete missions weren't there and the damn game gave me motion sickness!

Will try it for a bit longer during the beta but can't see myself purchasing MxO. Maybe it gets better at higher levels and it's a pity because the Matrix concept is very cool. If anything this could use another 6-9 months work and be amazing... or be released in a week and be ordinary.

Yes, I think the story may get better at higher lvls.

But is really needs story, because it does not seem to have the content that WoW and EQ2 have going for it.

Then again, I am only lvl 6.
