any free or bata mmorpg's out there??

hello, I play WOW at the time, and will only pay for one game at a time,so, i'm looking for a all free or bata bame to play when WOW is down,witch can be alot, lol, cause of lag and problems, and maintnace,seems blizzard didn't put much into there servers, they go down alot.
Anyways, please post and all free games or ones in bata here, that TOG'ers play, thank you ..

Try Anarchy Online, it's free for the core product. You only pay if you want the expansion stuff, but there's plenty to do without it. check it out at:

It takes a little work, but there's an extensive list of MMO's, both free and subscription, at MMORPG.com


And they always have contests for free games, hardware, beta invites, etc. I won a beta spot in Dark and Light, but I didn't log in soon enough to claim it (24-hour window to claim prizes).

If a game's not on their lists, it's probably not worth playing.

a good site to access many beta games is

there you see a list of all active mmorpg games and the ones that are in progress. Also when you link to the diffenret game pages you can check if there are free beta accounts or open beta.

Also the site cost nothing but you can win nice prices with.
get one of the 500 beta accouts for MXO some months ago this way

games i'm testing in beta now for free are Face Of Mankind and MxO


also on the site there is a link to a free mmorpg site list
altought theses games are graphical a bit less but sometimes very addective

Guild Wars is going to be free when it comes out. I haven't tried it, but there is supposed to be one last beta event soon before the game is released. It does look pretty good however. Here's a link: Guild Wars

It has all the betas that are out there, and a nice hyperlink so you can sign up.
Currently i am trying rose online and kal online wich are open betas.
Both off them have good graphics and gameplay.
The immature kids and sellersspam can be anoying.

Here is one called Starport. It is totally free. It is a space game, has more of a 2d look. It is fun to play though.
