It's a total disaster indeed.This reminds me a lot of GOA incompetence during the launch of Warhammer Online .Not sure I'll be buying it either.

Sounds like Frogster made some server mistakes already for their preview/early event

On the upside those who connect to the US servers will be setup different. They have several early interviews with Patrick Wyatt who is in charge of their server design for the US one. He was one of the founders of ArenaNet (Guild Wars). In those interviews they sounded like they have given a lot of planning and thought to the server load already.

So I am very hopeful the full beta next weekend on the US servers goes much better than EU servers. Secondly this is the US second Tera event, and only the EU's first try. Will have to see next weekend though when the actual betas start.
