Default Fallout or Elder Scrolls MMORPG?

Given the timing, my money's on Fallout.

There is an mmo currently in development that has quiet a few similarities to fallout ...currently in closed beta stage of development.

A mmo from the makers of fallout 3 though would be interesting.....but i hope they add a lot more content to it then what is in fallout 3. To think it was once almost twice the size before release.

Bah all these games....not enough time to play em all

Rorted!

There seems to be quite a few post-apocalyptic mmo's coming out soon, sometime after the wave of action mmorpgs (couple scifi's, couple superheroes).

most likely it will be Fallout, but I think I would rather have an Elder Scrolls MMO. Daggerfall was absolutely huge. It would literally take you days in real time to cross that continent if you didn't use a boat.

having said that, there is no reason they couldn't port the tech they have for that to an apocalyptic version either. as far as content, if they have worked on their algorithims for random dungeon creation at all, they might have something there to fill in the gaps as there would be a lot of gaps, and then as the development went on they could put in more handcrafted dungeons.

I guess only time will tell.

I'd dearly love to have an Elder Scrolls MMO but I'm such a die hard fan that if they did it wrong I'd need medical attention ha!

ummm..... don't they have to have that up and running by the end of the year based on their contract with Bethesda? It will probably be the buggiest launch ever.

I like the action orientated direction many MMOs are now moving towards, and the way many online shooters are evolving in terms of persistant, progresssive and cooperative game elements. There's so much room for growth on both sides of the fence and probably a lot of things none of us have even considered yet. I wonder what we'll be playing 10 years from now.
