Looks like trouble in Cheyenne, they've been having cash flow problems and now a law suit for unpaid bills, things aren't looking good for an interesting sounding game from a well establish IP.

It is too bad. I was/am in Beta. I found it interesting, and it had some good ideas and certainly a vast area to expand to it, and some good "lore". Hopefully they can find a way.

Isn't this the 2nd SG game in a row to fail before even being delivered? Wasn't the first game shelved partially to make way for this one?

There has been no news, videos or anything come from this game since october last year.

I hope they can get it off the ground, I was really looking forward to this one

I agree, this game had a lot of potential, and some really interesting gameplay mechanics (being able to get bonuses from taking cover, and the scientist etc minigames); I do hope to be able to try it out sometime in the future if they manage to resolve these issues.

Maybe they should release the game so it can start earning some income.

I guess if they release a buggy game all the fanboys will can it.

Yeah thats the problem piemole, you release it too early and people will get burned and not come back so you're trading off some up front cash for what you might make down the track. I'm not sure how completed the game is though, to answer your question.

The news of this Lawsuit against Cheyene Mountain Entertainment originally surfaced on the official game forum over a month ago. It seems now the info has finally gone into wider circles which if you guys recalled. Late last year there was a rumor that CME wasn't paying employees properly. (which the game dev's dismissed publicly)

This lawsuit seems to stem about not paying an invoice from some sort of vendor. (sub-contractor?)

I have to admit although myself and Arep have a TOG presence as a Command (guild) on their official game forum. My interest has waned not just because there has been very little press since late last year. Since i haven't gotten into the beta (I applied in the early rounds last year).

My attention / interest has drifted towards DarkFall as of late.
