Default Still Deciding on Something to play...

Yes here i am again looking for advice. Sort of narrowed it down to a few titles.

EQ2 - Loved playing it so long ago but just didnt seem to have the population of other titles or so i thought. Is it populated enough to come back to and enjoy the game with guildies(Playing OZ time zone - random times though) Have read that with new expansion grouping is a must. Is this true?

LOTR - Again another game i played when launched and a lot has changed since with the new Moria Expansion. Lifetime sub looks to be still available if i went to purchase Moria Digitally. The only thing about this game that i sort of didnt like in the beginning was that you really only played as the good guys. Yes i know there was monster play but just seemed like it was tacked on at the time.

Any advice gladly appreciated.

LOTRO's expansion Moria was one of the strongest sellers recently, and the community seems pretty happy with it. TOG has guilds for euro, north-america, and anzac crwe's so whatever time you're playing should find some friends there to chill with.

Both those games have an awesome and mature (game knowledge in peticular) TOG community. Either or both I would recommend highly.

At the end of the day, LOTRO is a great game. The visuals are awesome, and with the new Book 7 update (3/17/09) it gets even better looking. But really it comes down to the LOTR lore, the immersion into the game and the storyline. It's not a hard core raiding game, there are some raid-ish type of things, a new raid due out in a few months. A good variety of classes, armour, adventure and all that

Its a good time, we have a great community, there is Monster Player which is fun, but its a different part of the game itself (which I play a lot of).

And while its a chunk to download, there is a 10 Day Free Trail from LOTRO, The Lord of the Rings Online 10 DAY FREE TRIAL

Ooooh monster players. Those sound interesting, is there an OCeanic TOG monster players guild?
