Ryzom switching to pay to play

It appears that Ryzom is making the switch from their current free to pay back to a pay to play model. At least, thats what is being hinted at! Here's to hoping the extra funds help the resurrection team get this game cranking out to its full potential.

Aye, this is a brilliant MMO, my first. I have a lot of fond memories of Atys.
Pity it came out around the same time as WoW

Well I downloaded it and started to play, but unfortunately within a few minutes I knew I couldn't.
I just cannot cope with that swinging kind of movement that happens when you hold down the mouse to move. As for keyboard control, that is impossible.
Why oh why can't game makers allow people to choose how they want the controls to work.
Surely it can't be so hard to program. The Asian game makers have no problem doing it. Guess they are just smarter.

Oh the camera bob? I'm not sure if ryzom had something for that but a lot of games do let you disable that.
