Jagex's MetalScape
"Not just Runescape in Space"
The developers of the outrageously popular RuneScape (over 150 million users since 2001!), are now working on a SciFi game. They've taken a long hard look at SciFi MMORPGS and where they've failed, and identified a core problem. Apparently most scifi's are just fantasy games in sci fi wrapping paper. They use fantasy based leveling and character development and aren't really true to the genre. So what have they come up with? Not much revealed but I'm curious to see where they're going with it.
