Well, they created the Warcraft, Diablo and Starcraft IPs, it's probably about time they have at it again.

I'm sure this game is a long long way off. If I had to guess, I'd say look for it to come out around 2014.

Also remember that Blizzard have a history of shelving projects that aren't working out for them. It's not that they can't do wrong, they do, just like every other studio, they just don't release their bad stuff.

Starcraft Ghost was their most publicised project that got canned, but they've mentioned that there have been plenty of other projects that they'd sunk lots of money into that never went anywhere. However, they're so damn big and constantly under the media's spotlight (for good or bad) it's hard for them to start on something new without someone catching wind of it.

Actually, looking over their Wikipedia page there are lots of old games I'd loved credited to their name that I never knew about. I know they did The Lost Vikings and Blackthorne, but never knew they also made Rock'n'Roll Racing (SNES/Genesis), that game was awesome!
