Their site has the marketing stuff and is easy to follow, but whats the good oil ?

Yes.
I couldnt find the info about engine or anything, (Rhetorical) Has one of them become open source to allow the free to plays ? or are they staying advertising funded, with pay to remove mainly ? Its great to see the realms interest level going up, I'd like to think MMO's could suffer a resurgence. PC gaming in particular.
