What Really Grinds My Gears!

Dear MMORPG's,

After having..moderate success with my "What Really Grinds My Gears" section in the Shooter Games section of the forums, I, and with the support of Reoh and his 50+ things that grind his gears

Have decided to create a what really grinds my gears about MMORPG's. It can be anything you want about the stuff you hate about MMORPG's i'd like to hear what you think and im hoping this becomes a hit like the other one haha.

So ladies and gentlemen of the TOG MMORPG community..send me your annoyances about the games you love

* 4 hour "2 hour" downtimes, primetime friday night. *cough CO cough*
* Barrens Chat (no matter in what game it is)
* Overnerfs (learn 2 precision strike!)
* Bugs (all of'em)
* Working as intended that should have been bugs (lazy devs)
* Hyping games and then not delivering (Warhammer )=)
* Hyping games and then going quiet for 6 months (JGE I'm looking at you! )
* Raising level caps (World of WelfareEpicsCrackCraft)
* Grinding (you know grinding was fun when I was a kid, but well err.... different kind!)
* Questjumpers
* More questjumpers
* People that questjump you right after you saved their scrawny necks.
* Leeroy Jenkins
* Leeroy Jenkin wannabe's

...I'll uhm, keep going later.

* Grinds hidden as quests
* Grinds hidden as reputations
* Quests that you can only do as groups when everyone is at the exact same location in the quest
* Games that let you progress faster solo than with friends.
* Balancing a PvE game around PvP concerns.
* Letting people hide their reputation behind server transfers, name changes, and easy-to-level alts.
* Loss of RP in my MMORPGs.

Just all the silly little icons that are supposed to represent,mining,logging,harvesting etc. and to crown it all they always pop up in the same place

2. Overhype and under delivering
3. grinding
4 constant compareing to wow
5. lazy devs and bad publishers
6. wow clones
7 afraid of taking chances
8. not enough polishing
9. immature communities that have too many high expectations and not considerate of mmo's in launch phase
10. devs and publisher treating beta as hype and trying to just bring in more subs

Like reoh i could mention more but those are the ones i hate the most

lag death specifically (that makes me pound my keyboard, poor, poor, keyboard, you know I love you it is just...)

* Stupid NPC Escort quests that make you ragequit for the evening... (yes, thats what happened last night)

I dont play many MMO's but when I was playing them the 3 main things that annoyed the **** outta me were:

1.lag
2.no one talking..unless they B>RING OF VALOR3000000 and all that shit..i hated those little shops of theirs SO MUCH!
3. The only other community are people trying to make themselves look big, its like they get a stiffy from saying I got an alt whos lvl blah blah blah and can kill anything...I DONT CARE! dont talk to me about your lil alt character if you wanna talk..help me kill..if you wanna chat about your alt..leave me alone!

Those are my 3 MMO grinds for today..i may post more if and when i play some MMO's..till then im leaving Reoh as the main grinder of this thread coz he was the one who supported in bringing this over here..and so far its worked well

Low lvl players spamming the chat to beg for equipment and money.
People who expect that you're going to buff and heal absolutely everyone that you come across and who start insulting you if you don't.
Companies who promise to release new game content for years and then only release some stuff that was allready in the database.
Games that are filled with bots, cheaters and hacks.
Players that get away with everything such as making racistic remarks about certain guilds and never get banned for it because they are one of the most important guilds on that server and spend a lot of cash in the item mall.
