I think I can tell you that there are NO trademarked properties in LEGO Universe other than LEGO's own. In the future, who knows.
No LucasFilm properties, no Batman, no Harry Potter, No Pirates of the Caribbean, etc. In some ways, LU is similar to Traveler's Tales LEGO games. I can't say which ways, of course.

Hadn't looked at this before, looks interesting - a sneaky way of getting my kids into MMOs so I can be a good daddy playing with them
 Actually looked kind of fun with those lego armies running around

When we were in the Lego store this weekend they were showing us the pre-order stuff for this game. It was cool enough that I pre-ordered it for our youngest and one for the rest of us to play with as well. It looked pretty good compared to some of the mmo stuff that's being offered to the younger kids. A lot of that is junk but there is some good stuff, like Sony's Free Realms I think is the name of their kid's mmo.
