Problems with oblivion
i've been having problems with oblivion lately, i have a 9600 Radeon installed and 18 gig, oblivion says it should be enough to run. buuut every time i exit the sewers in the beginning of the game and turn to face any part of the imperial city my computer IMMEDIATELY SHUTS DOWN!!! its quite frustrating and i seem to be the only person with this problem... does my computer suck? or did i get the short stick in bad coding? can i fix it? does anyone know whats going on.

Hey Munster, can you give us your PC Specs please, they'll help us diagnose what your issue is. Also if this is a problem that only began occuring recently, have you installed any new hardware/software? If your PC is old, do you clean it out regularly to make sure that dust isn't clogging up fan's and sinks (de-ionised compressed air ftw).

9600 will run perfect, I played for ages with one. Sounds like it's a corrupt file. Have you tried reinstalling the game?
