Personally I think TDU2 will win me over NFS World

Yeah, but most games sound better when all you have to judge them buy is a cleverly cut trailer and a developer upselling it's features.

Don't get me wrong, I hope TUD2 is great, but it's all just smoke and mirrors at the moment. NFS:World is at least real and playable and you can apply for beta and see people playing it in it's current state. I also doubt both games will compete with each other much, they target different types of gamers. Some like arcade flashy racing ect, others prefer something more sim like which is the gap Test Drive fills.

Just started playing this yesterday when WoT servers were down.

It's a fun game, but the client is buggy as hell (average 1 CTD per hour). The servers are shit (Cars warping all over the place in races, 50% of racers don't make it into the race after queuing). Cash shop cars are insta-wins if there are only ftp players that you're racing against. And finally, cash shop lets you get incredibly overpowered cars compared to anything else at your level (using level 30+ cars in level 2 races).

Overall it's something fun to do, but I certainly won't be investing any money or significant time into it.

That was my impression when I tried it last year.

I have been playing it since beta, and I would have to agree with CalSinai. It's a casual game and nothing else. Get's real boring real quick. I think it just needs more depth to it. Your standard N4S format just doesn't convert to MMORPGaming.

That being said it IS fun to have an occasional race, and because there are no subscription fees you are able to do that, which is nice.

I like Need for Speed World.. and it´s for free too
But I thought it would be better. I love the "old" NfS-Games and I was satisfied with every NfS Game..
