Perpetuum Blog
I found a good blog on Perpetuum. One of the first articles that jumps out at me, is one that discusses how this is a clone of Eve. I encourage anyone else that likes Eve but is looking for something a tad different to check it out.

Nice read, and honestly since they're going after the same player base (sand box style game enthusiasts) then it just makes sense to have a UI that will seem familiar to them. The trick is can they "improve" open it with subtle deviations that make it more useful or not. True of other game elements too.
