Final fantasy XIV division Question!

I had been searching the forum for awhile to see if tog had any plans on doing a FFXIV division. But I came up with no leads. This is mainly a question to find out who i need to speak to about this.

The reason I'm bringing this up is because I have a few local friends that are going to be joining a Clan "Linkshell" my best friend and I are starting for launch. But i've seen a lot of people on here talk about starting FFXIV.

My point of this is I'd like to talk about my friend and I running a division for TOG. But there's one thing I wasn't sure that TOG would be fine with by this request. We original started it as a Role playing clan. but we aren't requiring people to Role play just not to break anyone who is trying to roleplay in the clan chat.

As part of the role play I'd just ask if we could keep our clan name we decided on. Roisin dubh which means "Black Rose".

From the interest I'd say there will be a TOG Division, however details aren't usually finalised till very closeto release so we can see numbers and organise the structure and appoint people. I realisemost people want things sorted long in advance, but it doesn't happen like that here. Division Captains and Guild Leaders are nominated and selected by those higher up usually,but I have seen Polls for the odd position. If you are keen, keep frequenting the forums and put forward an application when the Admins ask for nominations/applications. For certain positions I think there is a minimum 12month membership requirement also. This all keeps hassles to a minimum as the existing members already know how everything works.

i'm aware of the thread the main reason I brought it up was because no one stepped up and said anything about it. other then that they'd like a clan started.

The reason I brought this up was because I've already had a clan set up and didn't mind that tog used it so the members from tog benefited from it.

If I may suggest a course of action.

Watch and see how things are shaping up towards the end of August when we are no longer months away from the release date but instead only weeks away. If we have enough members interested (I suspect that we will) in forming a guild, then I'm positive things will pick up from there and we will have Toggers from all corners stepping up to offer help.

If not, then make a post of your own suggesting a server and offering invites.

I know I will be playing FF and will be happy to take on a support roll as a crafting or guild officer as required.

eh he well the clan itself has already been formed. But originally it was a pet project between my best friend and I. If the division doesn't get formed in tog then anyone is welcome to come and join.
