$50M doesn't sound unreasonable

EQ2 was around $20M, and that was what? 7? 9? years ago That was a very decent, polished, product at (or shortly after) launch in my opinion. I expect Starwars will be a bit higher than $50M, but I also expect a bit more from it. Of course money is no indication of quality, APB is a perfect example.

It will be interesting to see if they can change the mold of MMOs. I have my doubts but even if this game sucks I will give it a shot. 40K is just too good to pass up.

I've got my hopes up for this game. I mean I'm really excited about it. I never really enjoyed playing the 40k table top game, but I really loved the lore and the character designs were just incredible looking.

I really want to try this game out, but I tell you, the last three MMOs I was excited about turned out to be garbage. I'm starting to get skeptical about good games being released. The way things are being done right now it's more about making as much money with as little cost as possible than truly releasing a game of good quality.

It really bugs me that World of Warcraft seems to be the bar for MMO gaming.

especially since they've never published an MMO..

but i'll be there at least for 30 days
