Aion Login (and NCSoft Master Account question)

Hi all,

I bough, installed and updated Aion today. I've paid for the first month and had an existing NCSoft account from CO and GW.

When I go to login to Aion, it doesn't recognise my username or password. When I try to log into the Account Management page of NCSoft I get 'address not found'.

So if you know what's going on there, I'd love to hear it.


While surfing to find out what the problem is I've come across a few forum posts out there talking about having a different Aion character name to your NCSoft master login. Why is this?

Stupid caps-lock when setting passwords

The advice to have different names is so hackers can't get into your account as easily. Glad to hear tis sorted.

Yeah, I think it's just a security recommendation. To help keep your account a bit safer it's best to have your Aion login information not be the same as your NCsoft master account.
