I just wanted to say hello to everyone, I just recently joined TOG. after 6 yrs of WOW I decided to move on, so I canceled my account and passed my responsibilitys to to a younger player wyho had the excitment in his eyes that I did 5-6 yrs ago. I came to TOG for the oppurtunity to meet new friends and hyopefully find some players interested in the games I am. I play most all the shooters COD, BFBC2, Crysis, FEAR ect. but what I am really interested in is getting involved with players who will be playing DCUO( pve Hero healer)and after 1 weekend in the beta I really have a lot of interest in RIFT I am not sure it is possible to juggle 2 but I still have a little time to see. my question is are thier other players who plan on starting DCUO on the 11th? and if so how do I get hooked up with ya?

looking forward to making some new gamin buddies and kickin some bad guy butt.

I too have interest in DC Online and Rift. I am very unfamiliar with DC Online, and I have heard some negative things. I will be giving it a shot either way.

I expect TOG to have a sub forum for DC Online within the next day or so, at that point all information will be there.

Welcome to TOG Sinned Grats with putting up with the WOW community for 6 years i lasted 18 months before moving on! Ive played both the betas of DC and Rift. I pre-ordered the DCUO but canceled my order a while later as there are quite a few issues with it at the moment. Also there doesnt seem to be a huge following for it with TOG and thats one of the things i look for in mmos now so there are plenty of people to team with. Its a shame that PC and PS3 users are on different servers otherwise there wouldnt be a question of numbers.

So im afraid there wont be a sub forum for at least a few days in to release until the admins see if the game is popular enough (ive enquired about this, Hint: to speed things up if enough people ask for one then it will be up in no time).

As for Rift, well its one of the smoothest betas ive been in, i was very impressed indeed. Yes you can liken it to lots of other mmos out there, lets face it, its tough to get originality on your side these days but to be fair on it the game is fun and isnt that all that counts? Im seriously considering a pre-order there but im also waiting on Starwars TOR which i know will have a massive TOG force behind it. So i might wait it out, still havent decided
