TOG - The Older Gamers

Heya TOGERS. Wolf without a den here.

Since coming into the fold here with TOG I've played and left:

Lineage 2 - due to grind
Everquest 2 - lack to grouping
World of Warcraft - current politcal situation, thinking about transferring my main to Dragonblight and joining TOG there.
City of Heroes - not really for me, very fun though.

I'm trying Eve online.

I've been eyeballing SWG( I love Star Wars) and BF2 (I loved BF1942).

So what this post is about is...33 year old TOGer in US CST looking for game family to join. Only interested in having fun and being part of a community. If anybody has any suggestions please put them here.

I bet you love Eve! (Have you tried Bf2 yet?) When Pirates of the Burning Sea comes out (maybe early 2006), you have to try that one too!!!!!

Man, it's folks like you who make me yearn to re-up in WoW!!

I don't "love" Eve, in fact, I don't fully understand it yet. I might just be a dumbass but it's escaping me so far...lol

I'm itching for BF2 but SWMBO is groaning about the $50 asking price.

Heh i dont have a TOG home either at the moment, tried eve online but it didnt do anything for me so im going to just have to wait until the next generation rpgs are out

I didnt understand eve either, most games have a tutorial thats understandable but just starting a game and being in space with no clue what your suppose to do was far to confusing so i canceled my account within 2 days, not a great fan of space rpgs anyway

I'm giving serious consideration to either picking up SWG and giving it a go or transferring my WoW main to Dragonblight and getting with a young TOG outfit there.

Wolf daddy....stick with eve a bit....its a bitch of a learning curve

The 'problem' (besides the learning curve) with Eve is that the game is so openended. There are no goals other than the ones you make for yourself and/or what a Corp makes for it self.

I'm sort of in the same boat here, I just joined TOG and my character needs a guild. WoW Proudmoore server, alliance side named Arkaos. How do I go about getting into the guild, now that I am a TOG member? Thank you in advance for your help!
