The class I miss the most...

In the realm of fantasy, I miss one class the most that seems to never be put into MMOs in the past 4 or 5 years...

That class is The Monk

I had a Monk template in UO, played one in DAoC and EQ2. I love this class.

Sadly, it seems like a class that is dying off.

I know Diablo 3 is supposed to have one, but I don't consider D3 an MMO.

Anyone else have a unique class they miss the most? DAoC and EQ2 had several unique classes that were pretty creative.

And I miss the Kerra race...they were pretty sweet.

You could easily create a monk like character in many of the Superhero MMOs

I miss the good old thief, they're all dual weilding, DPS machines now, what ever happened to hiding and just taking other peoples stuff.

I do miss the good old Monk back in EQ days. There was nothing like split pulling 50 mobs with a team of to or three monks like in the ring events in Plane of Earth. Then there were the raids in GOD that were a pain but so much fun. So many cool tricks to use. Wish they would bring that back to an MMO but can understand why they haven't and never will.

Monks in EQ were great. What class "I" really miss though is Asheron's Call "build your own" class type stuff
