Anyone still playing EQ1?

I was reading about these time locked progression servers for EQ1. I never really played EQ1, so I thought they might be a good way to see what the game was like.

Anyone playing on the TLP servers?

I have often been tempted to go back and give the game another go I played EQ shortly after its release for a good few years, and it holds many, many fond memories for me, with its epic quest lines, interesting dungeons and the awesome world events they ran.

So, I grabbed the trial, and was surprised how much I actually enjoyed playing it again! So many great memories flooding back. I think I may sub up and play on one of those progression servers for a while, its a nice counterbalance to my MO sandbox gaming

If anyone else is up for having an EQ1 re-awakening, post up in here and we can see if we can pull together a semi-regular group

Theres a large aussie guild who are still raiding in EQ and they take people on for casual play as well, terror australis on the rathe.

I used to raid with them on my rogue [Kaznth].

I loaded it up and played for a bit. Games have definitely changed a lot. The 24 inch monitor makes the graphics look pretty dated. I just couldn't get into it unfortunately. I found it pretty difficult to figure out where to go or what to do. Was worth a look though.
