Tell Me About Puzzle Pirates!
Ikoris has told me a little about this game.
It looks like it might be stupidly fun for a puzzle nerd like me. Is it a game you can play casually, or is it consuming, like WoW? What advice can any Pirate veterans offer me if I was thinking about dipping my toe in the puzzly waters of Puzzle Pirates?

Hee hee.
As I've told you, you could totally play the game casually but if you wanted to, you could get involved at the "higher level" game, where diplomacy, economics, and military strength come into play (how many ships do you have of what types, how are they stocked, how many people do you have to man the ships, etc). You start of grouping with other people and as you learn the puzzles and gain "rank" within your crew, typically by going through some kind of officer training (don't join a crew that doesn't have it!), you will get the opportunity to solo and play the games on your own terms. |
