Dragon Nest
Hey guys and gals,
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and recommend Dragon Nest. First off, let me go ahead and get this out there, it is a cartoony f2p game. I normally don't play these types of games, but I am pretty impressed with it. It's a very fast pace action game. A blast to play wether you have 30 minutes to kill, or all night. It just went into open beta yesterday (7/26/2011). They are even doing 4 events during open beta upto 8/09/2011 i believe. Looks pretty cool. I am going to check it out. Downloading now.
Is it currently in beta, or released now? I wonder what you get with the free version and what you don't get... or maybe they make their money with micro's.

I'm actually giving this game a go, since other MMOs that will remain nameless here seem to not want to be released anytime soon, and it's surprisingly FUN.
I thoroughly suggest people to give it a go. Once you look passed the childish art style and cutesy graphics you see a game that fun to just pick up and play. My only concern is if it if gets any more challenging. I'm able to do the master level dungeons that are recommended for 4 people on my own. Although I'm still only level 10 so it's still early days. I'm assuming it gets harder later...

Yea, I concur that this game is fun. I am also just beginning, so I can't speak for how long the fun will last. I have not yet tried to solo master dungeons as I assumed you couldn't... I will try now

Been playing this also. I have 4 toons on the busy west server (can't remember the name) The only class I don't really like is the Sorc. Not enough firepower for how squishy. At least at the low levels.
Think I like the Cleric and the Archer the best. The cleric is pretty powerful early on even with not getting a heal to start with. The Archer does insane damage, but you need to line up the mobs and keep distance. The Warrior is your typical MDPS class to begin with. I got mine to about 10 and like it just not as much as the other classes. I like how it's an action game. It has a much more 3rd person shooter feel and the lag on the west coast server doesn't seem to hurt me in Japan for PvE. I am able to dodge attacks and move in and out to attack and disengage.
