Well you can still order from overseas anyway, I know a lot of us have. You'll find that most of the SW:TOR mob have moved on over to the SW:TOR forum now (members only).

I've never seen a public forum go this quickly from public forum to private forum. Especially with no release date set yet. This game is still 2 to 3 months out. Are we pushing away potential new TOGers by making SWTOR a private forum pre-maturely?

What do you mean by private??

Any member of TOG can gain access to the forum. It is the same as any division forum.

The division needs to be set up this early on such a big game release. When division is set up = division gets forums.

Joining TOG is so easy, I can't imagine that we are hurting the possible new members chances of joining.

The public forum existed as a subforum here for quite some time over several months before being granted division status. The forum had been moved to cater for the new division status of TOR. This was necessary due to the amount of organising required for starting up the new division.

Any public member is free to post in this forum if they are interested in the game. While your concern is noted, I don't believe it will have any significant impact on bringing in new members to TOG for the game (recruitment strategy is an ongoing dicsussion point within the TOR Leadership Council).

The division can still be seen if you scroll down through the MMO divisions section, it's just not accessible unless you're a member and logged on.

Personally I like that we don't wait for a game to launch before going private now. I'll admit this was earlier than I expected but its much easier to co-ordinate and organising a division and finding out what TOG Members want before launch so its all ready on the day.
