OK, not the Shadowrun Online I always hoped for, but I'll give it a shot. It's a browser based game coming your way from Cliffhanger Productions in their Jagged Alliance veign of game design.

I've been wishing for a MMO set in the Shadowrun universe for years, but this doesn't look like the game I had in mind. Still, if it's well made and the gameplay is any good, I'll be there.

Honestly Zilch, if they put out a AAA Shadowrun MMO I would put money on two outcomes:

A) A half-pie piece of trash based around Shadowrun lore that involved LFG LFG instance spam for an end game and all the other trash associated with it...
or
B) An awesome true-to-the-legend-that-is-Shadowrun game that is brilliant, fun, amazing and awesome until the company in charge of it decided they wanted more subs and dumbed it down into the ground.

Bitter? Twisted? Me? Never! I've never seen a great idea for an MMO turned into a piece of shit! :P

I always thought that they should make a Shadowrun game based on EVE's model.
You have your security areas and structures
You have your Corps
You have mainly player based interactions
PVP
PVE

etc etc
