I've played EVE for a while but something came up and that's why my free trial has already expired...I was not able to finish up the game but I had a fine time though flying around and checking out new pals. I find the community very matured and they're very much different to others. They said that I could actually mine and trade, is this true? What can you say about the game and what level are you now?

Hey bud,

Well first off, there aren't really "levels" in EVE like in other MMO's. You have a multitude of skills you can train from any different type of profession. So you can be anything you want and change later if you don't like your toon.

Also this game is designed for people with a life. You don't gain experience like in other MMO's by playing, but rather you train skills that train whether you are logged in or not. That is what determines how good a pilot you are...how many skills you have.

I love the game. It's held my attention for months so far, with no real intention of leaving soon, though with some other MMO's coming out that I"m goign to test I might not play EVE as much, but I don't see myself quitting. Hell even after a few months, I haven't even touched game content yet...this is a game that can easily be played for years.

If I were you I might consider DL'ing a new trial key and test it out again. Make sure you hook up with some TOG'ers so we can show you around...adn if you aren't officaly in TOG yet, hop over to the Barracks and get an invite so you can get into the EVE forum.

I've just got back into the game a month ago after almost 2 years

(though I'm with another corp, not ToG)
You can pretty much do what you want in the game - limited only by your skills and other players perhaps. Yes you can mine and trade. You can also do npc missions (which are basically either fedex or kill missions - there's also research missions but I haven't done those yet). You can do pvp, be a pirate or bounty hunter, fly different types of ships and so on. And if you don't feel like playing for awhile you're still able to train skills

It's a different kind of game compared to some other MMOGs out there.

Thanks pal! I'm a friend pf mine gave me a link of the tutorial and I'm signing up right now. Hey have you heard the news about the New PCU record of EVE? I've read it yesterday. It's cool!

If they mean 2045 GMT (GameTime) then no...I'm usualy on at 0000+, at least during the week. Weekends are a different story

When I logged on last night there were over 18,000 players!

When I log in at 1am USPST, there are often times over 10000 players on, so its pretty much a 23 hour game all in one 'instance' if that interests you.

Where do you download this key...I downloaded the game intending on trying out the free 4 day thing.

I can not aquire oe of these keys.....this could of course be due to my ineptitude on computers...

Anyhow, any info on obtaining this key would be great.
