Yeah I just bought AC1 for $10 so I can play AC2, but the d/l is locked for maintenance at the moment .

This is a recent video from YouTube, this was last night, a few players got together and jammed. Turbine was doing organized player music in AC2 way before they introduced it in LOTRO.

I'm currently playing a Drudge called 'Boo' if anyone else wants to goof around in AC2 drop me a line.

Just started a Drudge allegiance with a guy called 'Robber Baron' so give him a tell if you feel inclined as well.

This is not a TOG alliegiance not that I think anyone under 25 actually plays Asherons Call.

I wonder if the final product of this, when they give it a real launch, will follow a f2p model that Turbine seems to know exactly how to be successful, although DDO is down the dark path of p2w.

I'm going to download it tonight, I'll post my name later. I had a Ranger and Defender in the original game, I think I'm going to roll a Sorcerer this time, I loved the fact that you could play as a battle mage and wear armor/tank as a caster.

Thymos - It requires a sub, actually if you already have an AC1 sub you can play AC2 for free, if you don't then you have to buy AC1, then download AC2. After the free month its $12 per month. I figure its worth a gamble for $10 to see if the magic is still there.

But the article linked stated that it was in beta status, and requires a sub for AC1 just to play on the lone server right now. Which is why I hope that when it is done and relaunches, it will launch with their successful F2P model. You know, you have option, subscribe, pay for the content you do want, or earn turbine points to purchase some content.

I remember beta testing this game back in the day It never hooked me back then though, sadly.
