I've been keeping an eye on this one now for about a year when it was first announced. It's the brainchild of Richard Garriot and a bunch of other UO oldies.
Being a great fan of the Ultima series, I'm hoping that "Lord British" can pull off creating another classic game ... but this time he'll be doing it from the ground up.

i dunno . something bout the sci fi ,medievil kinda games just dont intrigue. like wow(not the hippie phrase,like wow man)and all,just doesnt grab me. call of duty was what sucked me in. when i bought my computers,i had played zero games.saw cod and it was over. i might try this .its the first person perspective that caught my eye...

I'm alot like you on this one Lichbane. I've had my eye on it for about a year now, but the more that they show of the game, the more that I'm liking RF-Online.
I've never really been into 1st person view games, but I love the Sci-Fi theme and MMO style of play. It just seems that everytime I look at it now, I keep seeing a cross between Anime / UT / AO. I'll keep my eye on it, but I don't think I'll be playing it.
