Any concerns with my promoting TOG on the LOTRO forums?

They have a kinship (guild) forum section - I was going to post our website and invite people to come visit us. Are there any do's and don'ts?

I would imagine that we'd have some kind of presence in LOTRO?

Just make sure the 25+ is prevalant and we are a community of MATURE gamers.

As it gets closer to launch I'm sure there will be interest in the game.

I'll indicate that we're a group of 25+ mature gamers and to visit us as the game approaches for guild info, etc.

I'll post our website and if people have interest today they can apply for any of our other games, guilds or our forum.

Since your initial thread post was soon going to page 2 of the LOTRO kinship msg board. I posted to it with some additional insight into TOG.

I saw that - thank you friend.

TOG prolly won't get any traction till the game goes live obviously. And it looks like there are a lot of guilds already making a name for themselves on the LOTRO forums. When LOTRO gets up and running I can start another thread, until then we'll get buried 2-3 pages back almost immediately.

They took down the LOTRO forums and the entire website around E3 - they relaunched the forums and everyone started back at square one.

You will need to sign-upo for the beta even if you already had a forum account.

Funny there is an Old Timers guild that has posted on there with the exact copy of TOG.
