Warhammer Online - Which Race?

Just out of curiousity... which race does everyone want to play?

Personally I think I would enjoy playing an Orc or Goblin.

Thats just me though.

I'm primarily interested in the Greenskins. No doubt I'll end up trying some of the other races too though.

I suspect we will need 2 TOG servers, if Mythic is true to form. In DAoC at least, people were forced to choose one realm only per account per server to keep spying drama to a minimum.

Chaos Humans / Green Skins / Dark Elves
Imperial Humans / Dwarves / Elves

Didn't think much about this until now. Looks like it will be two servers for me.............

Yeah, same here. I definately want to play orc, but want to get a feel for both sides.

Possibly 3 servers if they announce another realm. Not up on Warhammer lore but one article refered to 33 zones and only 11 owned by each realm so far which means 11 are unowned. Could be they are like frontiers or contested zones thou. Its sounding interesting so far although i do hope there is some PVE. Not raiding but just going out and killing stuff and questing cause its there. One of my favourite pasttimes in daoc was collecitng trophies... not everyone's idea of fun but i can hope

My impression was that it was 11 zones per opposing groups - so 11 for greenskins and dwarves, 11 for Empire and chaos, and 11 for dark and high elves. Just the way I read it though, nothing else I've seen to confirm that

I'm not sure what the breakdown is, but it's 11 zones per faction, so 11 zones for elves / dark elves, 11 zones for green skins / dwarves, and 11 zones for empire / chaos. The breakdown will be something like 5 RvR and 3 PvE for each side.

Of course, it could just as easily be 7 / 2 / 2, but that seems a bit like overkill......

I'd like to hear how the other races change as they level up. Tough to resist seeing your orc get larger and more menacing as level increases. Get to point where instead of a skull you can just grab the whole dead dwarf and stick him on your armor!

Dwarves apparently get longer beards or somesuch. Only two races done so far so not much info on the others.

Also read somewhere that Skaven could be a playable race, but not at launch.
