Well...
We've always thought that it'd come to games allowing players to spend real-world money for in-game stuff. Especially since its done anyway as it is now.
Forty bucks a month though? Youch.

I'm really sorry to see that they go down the path of selling in-game loot for real money, that actually improves the toon. If it were just "shiny things" with no toon improvement features, then that would be ok. But this...
And up to 40 dollar/euro for a month of play? Anyone interested in competing for the Archlord title will likely have to go for the Lord package. |

There isn't a game in the history of MMO's that's worth $20 per month let alone double that.

Don't really know much about this game, but will be interesting to see how many folks pay for the monthly Lord package at $39.99/€39.99/£27.49... ouch that's nearly twice as expensive as most MMO subscriptions.

well from feedback from some Korean/Chinese players ... the loni (PayPlus) system doesn't have all that large an impact there. No telling how it will impact on western style of play ... no way I'd ever pay $40 a month for 1 acct ... but I can afford to have 2 accts on the entry level $10, so my family can play as well... Or I could drop my 2 L2 accounts and pay for 3 AL accts ... heh.
