Virtual Laguna Beach??

just saw an ad for this on a blog, and clicked on it... it seems like some kind of MMO based on a younger-gen tv show.

I haven't signed up for it, but I admit I'm curious about how it works. seems like a limited MMO that you probably wouldn't pay for, since it's just one big promo for a show. still, an interesting idea, especially on the PR end. I wonder if it will take off.

VLB is made by the same guys from There.com. It's basically a clone of There with a few tweaks and aimed at the younger crowd. They have some aspects of an MMO but I wouldnt quite call it a game, its mainly about being social.

hey, There has kissing! virtual kissing is almost as good as real kissing... except with none of the benefits.

nah.. but you can rent a car and drive into people... and your car get's thrown far away...
you can't even curse people as the system censors it all...
