Does anyone still play it around here? I just got back into it, got tired of all the new MMOs so I went back to the one that truly got caught up in them (wasn't my first, but was the best at the time IMHO). I made a new toon on the Firiona Vie Server and he's lvl 13, but I was wondering if anyone else had toons anywhere I could maybe jump in with. Who knows, maybe we can get a TOG presense back there

I am playing on Stromm at the moment,I purchased the TSS expansion and fooling around between the Tutorial and Crescent Reach.

Nice and relaxing at the moment as I take a break from Eve.Unfortunately now that the summer season is here my play time is very erratic not at all set in concrete.

Looks as if I will just keep it going till something better comes up Vanguard ???
Nothing else around looks remotely like my cup of tea been so disapointed in the games that have been released so far in the last year

Wife and I are back in EQ as well. We're on the Luclin server, as our accounts where older than dirt we both got the bonus exp for re-activating our accounts.

We picked up all but Ro, and have been having a blast with the Draken race.

I know several people who are back in EQ local, but not enough that would call for the opening of a TOG EQ forum.

I keep thinking of returning to it but the SolRo server was absorbed by Bert or something else and the last time I logged in only 1 of my friends was still around (actually all of the guild officers had quit or hadn't logged in for a long time basically killing the guild). I can't see reactivating again.

I got back into it. My old accout I gave away some years back to a guildie when I quit. Mayde a new account, got a Chanter to lvl 30 then quit again. No one is around on Bert below lvl 60. The ones that are running around are just twinks that are PLing them selves and want nothing to do with anyone without twink gear or anyone at all.

EQ is now a high end game only. Nothing left for anyone else. Plenty of content , but you know you can't solo most of the game.

You can actually solo most of the game less you start to work on your epic...

But you're right, alot of twinks out there. Few good people still around who are willing to help, but with so much content the market has been flooded, but once you reach 30 / 40 I'm told there are solo able instances that allow for you to get some nice coin / loot. Where these places are I don't know yet, some guild folks where telling me about them.

Not for me. I don't want to solo my way to epic raid
lvl no contact with other people..not what a mmorp is to me. I did manage to get into a guild with people lvl 1-50 but they were all twinks of a raid guild that dont accept anyone under lvl 65. You can say, this was their twink guild until they reached the right lvl to get into their uber guild.

I know what you mean about grouping being reason for MMO, I just don't like being forced to group as you are in FF-Online and DnD.

The guild I hooked up with have toons from 1-65 as well, but the majority of them play alts in the mid 30-40's. The put together a pot luck of coin to help me out with gear and then have been playing taxi to show me all the new spots that are great for hunting. Have you tried the guild hall posts for trying to find a better guild?
