I am doooooomed. Who needs a life when stuff like this is coming out. Of course it might be another 7 years so I will get my moneys worth out of LOTRO and AOC. An MMO in 40K is just damn awesome. The real problem is what character to play? Inquisitor, Assassin, Psyker, Ork Warboss, maybe even a Squat engineer? Or how about a genestealer... hehehe Patriarch. Ooooooo the possibilities of having your own chaos coven is just to hard to grasp, and then of course are the Harliquins. I just wouldn't have enough time. I hope I am retired by then.

I just hope this will be as good as Warhammer Online is looking to be. I'm a little nervous about a company with no MMO experience developing this one though.

Well Games Workshop are pretty careful about their I.P now.

I mean they cancelled their first Warhammer MMORPG after spending $10 million on it, so they aren't likely to let some pile of crap out the door.

I want to be a Squiggoth. Growing from a small tiny squiggy scampering around in the grass to a huge base stomping rampaging mountain of destruction.

The problem I see with this is all the people they will steal from Warhammer Online - I know so many people who are going to play that game, but really wished it was 40K - and now that it will come out - even if several years later - it will steal people from that game. Or am I just way off...

The real problem is will people be tired of the same old MMo game in 3 more years? It needs to bring something really new to the table to be successful, not just an IP. That didnt help DDO, etc out.
