HeroMachine.

Here is a GREAT application I've been using for several years. The developer recently made it free to download and use (I paid for my copy a couple of years ago).
It's for people who aren't artists who want a visualization tool to help them create their characters.

While not necessarily perfect for all character concepts, I've found it to be pretty good. Especially since I have the artistic talent of a hyperactive retarded toad on acid with Tourette's.

Anyway... I've been using it for years, and I highly recommend it.
