RPG Tonight
Hi fellow RPG'ers,
Been looking for some Online RPG groups get my D&D fix. Anyway there have been some post here about Virtual Tables for playing, even WotC are making there own (if you want to subscribe to it, costs more then WoW) But on my Quest to find some cheap and easy to use systems i came across RPGTonight site which is nice and simple. Not only can you play and/or run your own campaign the rooms stay open (for those that have the password for the campaign) can play over an extended time without the GM being online (Turn by Turn Basis ) ideal for those who can not play all at the same time. I'm currently testing how it all works and i'll post an update soon on that. But feel free to pop on and have a look around , also there is a "Lurk" mode where you can watch games that are running. |
ok.
Time for an update Other then the normal "Getting Used" to the Virtual Table the Mission the GM's are good and friendly. There currently running a Playtest for a "Living Game" where all players play and interact within the same world, the world is roughly base on the "Game of Thorns" world using the D&D 4ed rule set. The GM's are very Beginner friendly, so pop on and join in. |
Thanks for the info. Looking at the site now :)

Cool, will have to have a browse. Its been so many years since i tabletopped, i would like to get back into it.
Rep coming your way! |
It would be completly beyond belief wild to play AD&D3.5 with a bunch of people again.
The virtual table sounds like fun, is there any interest? |
there are a fair few games in there run by friends and the like.
I'm mostly playing the "Living World" game which is using the DnD 4e rules. Which i'm surprised to say works well , the games run alot faster as the combat is more slipstreamed. My main Chara (Assassin lvl2 almost 3)plays about once or twice a week. But you will need Skype for the Living Game but you don't need a mic. there is a Channel for I.C and OOC for Characters so all the players can interact what not. |
