I've tried it, can't say I like it. TBH, I'm used to using Maptool. It may be quirky about getting servers started for some people, but the level of programmable customization can't be beat.

Maptools was way too difficult to make sure everyone was properly setup for it...

It was difficult for those who aren't very computer literate to understand... this roll20 is simpler for the player.
