I'm always a bit nervous bringing a new game out, you dont know if it will fall flat, and you have to slow the game down to check rules all the time. I try and play solo before I try with a group, but theres still stuff you miss.

Still, I think I need to bite the bullet and get some Galaxy Trucker and City of Remnants going sometime.

No surprise there. Did they even have games like say, Ticket to Ride?

My new favourite game is now 7 Wonders, played it with friends on the weekend, and everyone seemed to enjoy it.

Also got Galaxy Trucker played, fun, needs some more play to really get into it.

And had a good game (didnt finish) of City of Remnants. Not a bad game to teach, rules are fairly straightforward. Definitely playing this again. Felt very thematic, organising your gangs, moving around the city, developing buildings, making money, fighting off the police.

Do you usually order from ebay Henri? Same seller all the time?

I order half my games through Australia Games on ebay, because of the free postage, and their price is much cheaper than from Australia. They have the cheapest base price of the overseas sellers. Got Seven Wonders for just $49.

The other half I get through Games Paradise when they have their 20% off sales, and with loyalty vouchers ends up around 25% off and free postage. They have a good range but can be slow to post and can often be out of stock. As an example Seven Wonders is $75 full price but during sales I would have got it for around $56.

Yeah, local pricing is pretty bad sometimes.

Just wondered if ebay was any better, I'll check them out next time I'm buying, thanks

Ozgameshop is pretty good, free shipping (actually based in the uk), delivery is anything from 6 to 12 days. They are pretty competitive, I actually got 7 Wonders for about $31 (it was listed as $35, and I used a voucher) - it seems to have rebounded a little now, still only $43.

Do not know if already mentioned but Relic - Warhammer 40k based on the taslisman rules from Fantasy Flight Games, ran and played pretty darn well.
