How Goes Episode 23?

How goes the production of episode 23 regarding your thoughts on what E3 has showcased this year?

Besides how have people responded to your promotion of giving away a "Gold Membership" to the TOG site?

I'm nearly ansy and my ears are itching waiting for the next episode. :p

Well regretfully the Gold Membership podcast giveaway did not get any takers :bigcry:

Episode 23 has definitely been recorded, Ash will need to give it some production values before we can put it online.

Perhaps if you paired down the questions down from 9 to 3 trivia questions. (1 question per episode) That might work instead, or rearrange it into a simple email submission basis. Or tie it to an email with feedback on the podcast that can include: future topics, questions from users, and general comments about an episode.

Glad to hear that episode #23 is in the can as the saying goes. ;)

PS: I wouldn't mind hearing a TOG specific segment be it history of the community or some present achievement (or news bit) from one of the divisions. That'll keep the TOG Journalists busy. :p

Hi, I am only a new member and I've only just started listening to the podcasts. I think there great. I agree with Atrayo, I also would like to hear a segment on TOG history etc.
I am being constantly suprised by the amount of work that some members actualy do to keep TOG so good.
Keep up the good work guys, I have to go and start listening to episode 9.

Thanks for the interest guys - it gets so quiet in here at times we wonder if people are listening. We were disappointed with the lack of feedback to the give-away promo - we will look at other formats.

Don't think people didn't enter because they didn't want to.

In my own case I listen to podcasts whilst doing other things, and only listen to them as background noise unless there's a topic that's important to me personally. To go through the whole podcast again with a pen and paper and listen attentively doesn't fit into my schedule, even if the prize is not bad.

i.e. The return(gold pass) to reward(time sink) ratio is wonky, and I feel you'd be better off looking at competition types that take less than 5 minutes to enter.

mmh, thats pretty much how I feel, I listen to them while mowing my parents orchard usually. :)

edit: ugh nevermind, saw closed 30 June. No idea why I never got around to this, probably same reasoning as above and what Mesar mentioned.

Maybe if the trivia questions were posted alongside the post announcement link (thread) of the episode itself. One would pay attention whilst listening to the podcast on the first time around. Instead of having to repeat listen to an entire podcast for the trivia prize eligibility.

Just an additional thought on the promo format. ;)
