The first video game I ever played was on a coin-op in 1978, called Boot Hill. Two-player, cowboy shoot-out. I now have it on my MAME box
![]() First console I ever played was an Atari 2600, roughly 3 years later. First PC I ever owned was a Sega SC-3000 - the little black jobby with the rubberised QWERTY keyboard (rubber keys made it impossible to speed-type) and the game-cartridge slot in the side. |

First game would probably be centaped (sp?). A lot of quarters later!!!.
Game that really hocked me would be X-COM. After that, there was no going back.

first pc game i remember playing was a text only pirate game which I can't even remember the name of but the game that got me hooked was Ultima 3. Favorite coin op game was Star Castle though I sucked mightily at it. Cut my teeth on the good 'ol Commodore 64.

me and my bro had this gaming system way back in the day before atari before anything like that. Im pretty sure it was called celecovision or something like that. It had pong on it and tennis. It also had a light gun game. It was so good. Then my dad got me a tandy TRS -80. This was seriously good for its time. He got me alot of BASIC books and i would sit there for three days punching in code and debugging it to make the games. I would then write my own code and design my own games at the age of 8 ROFL. Now I have a leet pc but nothing beats the good ol' days.
BTW i spent my childhood growing up in the arcade places(they where my babysitters) not sure about the first game i played but the ones that stand out for me are timepilot, choplifter and double dragon |
