My first "electronic" game was this clunky orange and black game and watch that was shaped like a torpedo but I forgot what it's called. It was a LED type game where you shot down all these wierd flying saucers.
First computer games were hangman on DeskMate and Bouncing Babies. First arcade game was TMNT. My dad had the Commodore 64 when I was a kid but I saw so many buttons to press and went into overload so never really played with it properly; it was my button mashing toy. So first console games would have to be boxing and chicken run on Atari. Edit: I foundthe handheld game on Youtube! It's called Invader 2000. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4MHOUQtIC8

1st arcade game: a driving racing game w/ a green CRT screen which I don't remember the name. Later it was Space Invaders, Asteroids and many others from there.
1st console game: Combat and Space Invaders on the Atari VCS (later called 2600). 1st computer game: Sea Hunt and Jumpman (remember Epyx?) and Lode Runner on the Commodore 64. 1st electronic game: A battery operated game similar to Simon with a retractable blue dome cover. It was half-spherical shaped and had blue buttons arranged in a ring. Red LED's were arranged in a circle just outside of the ring of buttons. I just can't remember what the game was called. |

1st Console Game: Pong. I still remember it when I lived in Chula Vista... it was a big deal...
1st PC Game: It was something to do with a temple - and it was a text adventure game. The "disk drive" was an actual cassette drive. I remember doing the shift break command and being able to see its code. It's how I first learned to program in BASIC... and I'd later make a bunch of silly games of my own that were text adventure games. As a matter of fact one of them is still on my site ( Final Soul: The Text Adventure Game! ) - the only thing is if you're insane enough to download it - keep in mind it's pretty old. And also when I wrote it - the POKE command would turn on CAPS. The POKE command no longer works on modern machines, so you actually have to turn your CAPS LOCK on to play the game. It's really been downhill since then... was a gamer from then on.
