I think it was river raid on 2600.
In the arcades it was quix. But the most addictive and still is today was Kronis Rift on the c64.

Hmmm... I remember spending an afternoon at my babysitter's house and he kept me (very) occupied with these three games:
Lode Runner ![]() Zaxxon ![]() And the all-time favorite *cough* Frogger. ![]() (thank god I had a child's imagination back then) My first PC game was Ultima 7 - and wow, did it blow me away! ![]() |

When I was 6 or 7 dad came home with a wood effect Atari 2600. So, I suppose Space Invaders was my first real video game. I'd played pong but it never held my attention. Space Invaders though, I worked out that if I switched the console off and on really fast the tank shot 2 bullets instead of 1..magic!!

Being a sorta "Young'in" i was around when the c64 and the atari's and such, but my first console was the NES with the first super mario bros. on the pc is was *thinks* either MS-DOS golf on the vry old Windows 3.2 operating system. a time where ur desktop bg was limited to bout 6 colours lol
first online game = Half Life 2 DM (when i finally got broadband last year lol) |

Heh, yeah I got an NES several xmases after my c64. Ended up with mario/duckhunt dual cart, Ducktales and The Simpsons game. Loved that last one even if it was so hard, I was so rapt when I managed to finally complete it

first console was pong of course thenpc it was eveil kenivil game for the commodore 28 bit (dont remember the name )

The greyhound racing one? Yeah I played around with that one for a while, wasnt bad considering the type of game it was.
