Classic Game Remakes
Wiz_74's post about the remake of Paradroid Project Paradroid remake got me thinking that we need a thread for links to remakes of classic games.
I'll kick it off with this one.
Retrospec - Retrogaming at its best
It has remakes of several classic games.

I know of a rather large collection of retro remakes on a page, but for the life of me i cannot remember the address or the name of the page.
I tried retroremakes, but it is not the site I remember. I shall investigate further.

Thanks for the link, Jethro!
Has anyone seen the Starflight III website at
Starport Central -- Home of Starflight III
Also, I hope they will one day remake Wasteland and the Sid Meier Command series games (did I get that right? i.e., Conflict in Vietnam, Decision in the Desert, and Crusade in Europe).

I came across this a few weeks back, It's a port of Frontier:-Elite 2 that uses openGL graphics. It runs very nicely (especially in comparison to the slideshow that was the Atari ST version that I first played).
Tom Morton's beloved Website!

Hmmmm I might have to give that a go, as I have said to someone else earlier this week, I have never played even the original ELITE. I suspect this makes me somewhat of a rare find, as everyone else I know has played it lol. I guess it was one that somehow passed me by.
