I was recently amazed to find so many retro games available on the xbox 360 market place. Doom, centepede, defender, Galaga... to many to list. Most of the games have online ranking and even as in the case of doom multiplayer with co-op and vs. Split screen and online. The games all have free trials and can be opened to full version for just a few hundred live points... "under $10". Alot of the games give you the option of playing in classic graphics mode or new updated graphics including HD. These games really make the 360 a great console choice.

They are good, I play Worms alot with my wife, one of the few games she'll play. They have done well with Live, I was impressed.

Yeah, I will be definitely buying a lot of that stuff if i ever get a 360.
Same goes for PS3 and Wii tho all have live arcade style systems available.

Ya, I find I play more Arcade stuff than retail games lol. UNO is strangely addictive :P

I think someone could buy a 360 and never touch a retail game, and it would still be worth it

heh i came close to buying a 360/wii last night....if only i didint live in rip off Britain.

I may still buy one of them wii seems to have more retro games id like but the 360 has sensi its going to be a tough choice.

If you have a HD display, make the most of it and grab a 360 :P
