Space Quest FTW, I loved Larry but cheez Rodgar Wilco and crue had me laughing outloud, and one time I fell off my chair. I'm seroius too, I've tried to re-tell the gag to mates but they look at me like I have two heads, they get it, they're scifi fans, they just don't know why I found it so gut-renchingly funny.
(It was a the VGA re-make from the early 1990s btw) I have played the originals (SQ, PQs KQ) but it was a mates (so I've only seen parts of them) as we owned an Amstrad CPC6128 at the time of the originals release.

Ahhh something I am somewhat an expert at getting running. LOL probably the PC games I spent the most time on LSL/SQ/KQ/PQ etc.
I have managed to collect up the Space Quest, Kings Quest, Quest for glory and Police Quest anthology collections now and always good for some retro fun. Hmm.. just had a thought for another thread, or two. *edit* I recently also played through this game and its somewhat questionable gameplay. The jury is still out for me, only because of the glut of minigames that make up a good chunk of it. ![]()

Geez ... I cut my teeth on adventures BEFORE they had graphics ...good old fashioned text adventures such as the Zork series ... plus a good few others that were released around the same time. Played them on the C64

Loved all the old Sierra adventure games, lot of fun. Although a little confusing at times, was a lot of time spent going round clicking on the same damn things over and over
