Default Boulderdash C64

Did anyone here play Boulderdash on C64?

I remember spending many an hour trying to work out how to collect the diamonds without getting squished

Yes, it was one of my favorite games, we used to sneak over to my C64 owning friends house during school lunch break to play it (although it took most of the lunch break to load it). It came out for the Spectrum a little later and that was a pretty good version as well, I put quite a few hours into that.

Ah the good ole Boulderdash , I had many hours of fun with that game on my C64. I think I got up too level 55 on one sitting . I still have it around as well as 3 working complete C64s.

Yep played it and loved it, there where many variations of the game about as I remember. An arcade version also appeared but wasnt very successful.
I think I got stuck on a certain level, I think after the level where you have to create all the Diamonds in the big pit.

Yep .. one of my favorites was BoulderDash ... lots of fond memories wasting time being squished in game.

I had the "Boulderdash Constructor Set"... make your own maps, was pretty good. Most of the maps I made were dead easy though.

I still own a C64! With a heap of games on floppy.

On of my many fav's was boulderdash and the constructor kit.! Many hours were spent in playing the game and constructing levels for my brother to test!

Unfortunately the C64 has been boxed and stored away as I dont have time these days to game with it!
