I came to the conclusion that no board like this should go without mentioning the amazing app ScummVM.
For those not familiar. SCUMMVM is an interpretor developed for playing all those classic Lucasarts games using the SCUMM engine on newer pc systems. Along with a rather large selection of ports to just about every other computing/gaming system you can poke a stick at, ranging from the everyday linux build to Dreamcast to Palms, Macs and even the humble Amiga. Thus allowing all those classic games to be run on virtually any system that you want to compile it for. And it just seems to get better and better, with even many non Lucasarts games now supported and that list growing constantly. The most recent addition being compatibility for early sierra games using the Sierra AGI engine, allowing for play of Space Quest 1&2 Kings Quest 1-3 and a bunch of other AGI official and fan mad games. So if you ever wanted to dust off some of those Lucasarts classics, this is the best way to go. I still remember wanting to play my old copy of Full Throttle and getting issues in XP. Thankyou once again to the folks on the ScummVM dev team, you rock. ScummVM :: Home

Ahem yes... I could go into that but I wont.
In any case there are few different multi game packs containing various LA adventure titles anyways floating around for purchase on ebay and the like. Also there are two games that are compatible with it that are now freeware. Flight of the Amazon Queen and Beneath A steel Sky are both available for download at the ScummVM site iirc. Other games that you can play include Broken Sword 1+2, Gobliiins 1-3, Inherit the Earth (A personal favourite coz of the furry nature of the game) and a handful of other non LA titles. So theres something for everyone if you can get a hold of some of those.

Oh, something else I forgot to mention with it too for those who have/want the games. If you use SVM to play a lot of those CD Talkie adventures (Curse of MI, Sam n Max, Full throttle, DOTT etc.) you can compress their audio data down from the raw files to mp3 or ogg and fit them all onto one dvd or even cd for 2 or 3. This makes keeping them all in one place handy. I have a dvd with about 15 games on it or something like that in this vein.
