I came to the conclusion that no board like this should go without mentioning the amazing app ScummVM.
For those not familiar.
SCUMMVM is an interpretor developed for playing all those classic Lucasarts games using the SCUMM engine on newer pc systems. Along with a rather large selection of ports to just about every other computing/gaming system you can poke a stick at, ranging from the everyday linux build to Dreamcast to Palms, Macs and even the humble Amiga.
Thus allowing all those classic games to be run on virtually any system that you want to compile it for.
And it just seems to get better and better, with even many non Lucasarts games now supported and that list growing constantly.
The most recent addition being compatibility for early sierra games using the Sierra AGI engine, allowing for play of Space Quest 1&2 Kings Quest 1-3 and a bunch of other AGI official and fan mad games.
So if you ever wanted to dust off some of those Lucasarts classics, this is the best way to go. I still remember wanting to play my old copy of Full Throttle and getting issues in XP. Thankyou once again to the folks on the ScummVM dev team, you rock.
